All of the following programs use the science of Timed Interval Training. The name "Body Up.Cool Down" is rooted from the harmonious balance of high energy exercising (Body Up) , ended off by stretching and relaxing. As intense as life functioning gets, it's essential to relax and cool down as well. I know that sounds good but are you just beginning to exercise or not sure which program to start with? I got news for you ! This program has modified variations for beginners that play on screen simultaneously to accommodate all fitness levels (even has a third variation for those that have to remain seated). Either way the programs are designed to burn fat effectively due to the periods of exercise with minimal rests in between, which increases the body's ability to burn fat caused by the constant caloric expenditure along with assisting in the increase of your metabolic rate. In other words the more you perform these types of exercises, the better your body begins to adapt and get rid of excess fat.

Resistance TUBE 

*Resistance of choice (extra light or light recommended for beginners)

Used for upper body exercise in program.

Small Dumbbell PAIR 

*Weight of choice (1-3 lbs recommended for beginners, more experienced exercisers could be anywhere from 5-8 lbs)

Can be purchased online or at a store of choice

AEROBIC STEP (*OPTIONAL, YOU CAN ALSO USE AN IN-HOME STAIR CASE FOR STEP  EXERCISES)

Make sure the height of the step is anywhere from 4-6 inches.

Stretch Rope 

Used for post-workout "Cool Down" strecthes.

Large Dumbbell PAIR 

*Weight of choice (8-12 lbs recommended for beginners, more experienced exercisers could be anywhere from 15-25 lbs)

YOGA MAT (*OPTIONAL, IF YOU PLAN ON DOING FLOOR EXERCISES)

*Not required if you are participating in the chair exercise variations for the entire circuit.

Lower Body Resistance Bands w Ankle Cuff (*OPTIONAL , USED FOR LOWER BODY ON ONE EXERCISE IN THE PROGRAM FOR ADDITIONAL LOWER BODY RESISTANCE TO PRESENT MORE OF A CHALLENGE)

The purple 20 lb resistance works well for all fitness levels. The movement displayed is what differentiates the difficulty for each variation.

Jump Rope (*OPTIONAL, USED BRIEFLY FOR ONE WORKOUT IN THE ADVANCED VARIATION ONLY) 

Rope size is based on preference. The one used in the video is the standard 9 ft length.
