Thank you for being a supporter of abmbworkouts.com! I had to do some research in my Bible last night to find this one. Although this Verse is new to me , it still has the same impact on us all because God is familiar with what we deal with. So if you know this one I'm sure you won't mind viewing it again. For those that it is new to, just know we are sharing that experience together. I appreciate you for allowing me to bring inspiration to you as a vessel of the Most High.
The Weekly Word includes 3 elements.
1. My ‘Why’ behind the Verse chosen
2. How it relates to me personally throughout life in general and an exercising stand point.
3. An option for YOU to reflect in the same way I do whether you want to speak on both life and exercise or life by itself. The choice is always yours!
The ‘Why’ behind this weeks Verse:
As stated in the intro above this verse stems from research of me trying to find one that I could relate to at this exact point in my journey.
How It Relates to My Life:
You ever had one of those days, weeks, or even month when nothing seemed to go your way? Certain people you may have wanted to connect with let you down, that job opportunity or business opportunity didn’t fall through...even though you got super close to getting it, that college experience you thought you wanted to pursue wasn’t all it was cracked up to be etc. This is the point where we (and I boldly say “we” because I’m speaking to myself as well) have to come to grips and accept that God is ultimately working it out in our favor. He sees the unseen and the path we may have thought we wanted to pursue could have been the one that had us spiral down hill or separate us further from His Shield. He has a more impactful influence of peers, a better job, a better school , a better business opportunity , and overall better life in store for us. As of late things went on that had me lost and frustrated at times but God always seemed to show some type of sign that He was there. Let’s commit to coming to the premise that He has us and at times we may even reflect/ see hints on why we didn’t go a certain direction. After all if you’re reading this you’re alive and functional so He gave you another opportunity to look forward and continue on the path He laid out. I wish you nothing but blessings and more success. “No matter how it looks now, He got us!”
How It Relates to My Workouts:
From a workout stand point my journey can reflect on this directly. You see for my current Physique I had to put on a lot of extra muscle and gain a lot of healthy weight over time. It was very difficult, due to me genetically being an ‘ectomorph: a person who has a faster metabolism and a slim “skinnier” appearance’ I had to eagerly/ consistently combat that truth. Reflecting back to earlier in my journey I was following all the protocol, eating 5 to 6 times a day, working hard in the gym to build muscle and it seemed as though nothing was happening for me. In fact it was to the point people were still commenting on how skinny I was, even after putting in all that work , man some people would even just feel the need to say it while I was in the middle of working out . I let them know , “ok...watch this” and a few months later people were like “Yo man what have you been doing, you’re getting husky, you bulked up, you got strong, look how big your arms are etc” and now I’m the healthiest and strongest I’ve ever been due to proper nutrition and consistently sticking with my regiment. I felt lost at first but God wanted it to happen on His time and even let me learn from my earlier mistakes before becoming a Fitness Professional so that way I could pass on the proper knowledge to my supporters and clientele! So, whether you are currently trying to lose weight, put on muscle, increase athletic conditioning or a combination of the above listed, just know if you stay prayed up and trust in Him, you’ll conquer that goal so remain focused, key word "remain" and walk His path with confidence.
