'Weekly Word' December 29th- January 4th

Thank you for being a supporter of abmbworkouts.com. I hope you all have a safe, blessed and Happy New Year !

The Weekly Word includes 3 elements.

1. My ‘Why’ behind the Verse chosen

2. How it relates to me personally throughout life in general and an exercising stand point.

3. An option for YOU to reflect in the same way I do whether you want to speak on both life and exercise or life by itself. The choice is always yours!

The ‘Why’ behind this weeks Verse:

My next post won't be until next year lol so I wanted to leave out of 2019 with this hoping that it enhances our faith going into 2020 this upcoming week.

How It Relates to My Life:

This verse says that ‘they’ perish , in a sense that ‘we’ who believe know we are born again but those that don’t believe have a tougher situation where only God can be the judge. All we have to do is pray that they come to grips with accepting the one who has the answer to it all. He left it all on the cross , which is why I’m so thankful that Jesus is in my life. I have to admit  there was a period in my life where there was some uncertainty about this “Jesus thing”. Reflecting back some time ago I was thinking how being a Christian has so many rules and guidelines, on top of the fact that God holds you more accountable when you “know better” based off of your knowledge of the faith/ His word. I thought what’s the point of being a Christian when you have all of these rules to live by , isn’t that prohibiting me from living a fuller life? I started to think how I would get the guiltiest conscience from every thing I did that was wrong or against the Holy word. I began to take it as far as thinking that being a Christian is ruining my life and tinting my happiness / level of success (y’all know I’m super transparent and honest so I give each of you a piece of me in hope that you may be able to relate to it). There’s two sides to everything though right? So, the side that outweighs the doubt , confusion , and even anger is the fact that Jesus Christ, our father, our mentor , the man , the big dog , the head honcho, the greatest man to ever walk this earth shed blood for an undeserving human being such as myself. He suffered on that cross just so my sins can be forgiven , He suffered on that cross just so we can walk with Him in paradise no matter how much we mess up. That following fact I just dropped was enough for me. Once I began to think on how much good He has done for me , for you , for us, just from us holding on to Him I then had to thank Him & I still thank Him until this day. If you believe in Jesus with all of your heart and soul to the point that you feel guilty of sin and genuinely ask for repentance then it is covered on that cross. Once I sat on that aspect of it I said “Jesus you did it for me so the least I can do in return is hold on to you”. Thank You Jesus. You are the Greatest. Man, it felt so good sharing that with y’all and it just moved me to the point where I’m just overwhelmed with such joy knowing this message touched someone personally through Him.

How It Relates to My Workouts:

If it wasn't for my prayer leading my dedication and hard work then I wouldn't be able to even maintain this active lifestyle. Especially to the point where it became a business and brand to inspire people.

Thanks for reading & I’m looking forward to seeing your thoughts / reflection on how this Verse directly impacts you currently or impacted you in the past. So, be sure to reply below !
