Thank you for being a supporter of abmbworkouts.com... One quote that I’ll never forget is “You can never put a price on peace of mind”. That hits me so heavily. There is absolutely no substance in material items alone.
The Weekly Word includes 3 elements.
1. My ‘Why’ behind the Verse chosen
2. How it relates to me personally throughout life in general and an exercising stand point.
3. An option for YOU to reflect in the same way I do whether you want to speak on both life and exercise or life by itself. The choice is always yours!
The ‘Why’ behind this weeks Verse:
After looking into multiple successes in various industries I began to notice one characteristic that differentiates those that openly express their joys vs those who openly express their sorrows. The joyful expressers seem to appreciate the simple things in life that are often overlooked by us, such as keeping loved one's close, looking at losses as lessons, and even just appreciating that we have the opportunity at life in general. One thing I am learning as I continue to age is that life is a lot deeper than money alone. It's what you use the money as a vehicle for once you learn the way successful people have obtained it and made use of it. By successful I mean those who claim to be at peace despite the troubles life can bring.
How It Relates to My Life:
One quote that I’ll never forget is “You can never put a price on peace of mind”. That hits me so heavily. There is absolutely no substance in material items alone. Sometimes they can represent the source of a particular value in your life indirectly (such as a necklace your grandmother gave to you or your dad's favorite ring, etc.). But in those instances it’s not the items themselves who loved on you when you were down, took you in, guided you in life or even played a listening ear when you had good news and became a shoulder to cry on when you had troubles. Counting on those external pieces alone to the point you’re putting faith in man made items for happiness/ trying to get attention from people you don’t know (that really don’t care about you anyway) just creates emptiness. We should always be ourselves, like they say God won’t bless the person we’re trying to be. Let’s make a vow to stay true to ourselves and let no one break our peace. We are far from perfect but that doesn’t mean we have to sacrifice embracing our intuition in situations where we know that we should attempt to move more Godly. I do this for y’all and God knows my motive which is why peace of mind from a business/ brand standpoint could never be broken, just off the strength it’s all through Him, & that's openly acknowledged by the business. Peace & blessings. I love y’all and I’ll talk to you on here next Sunday.
How It Relates to My Workouts:
I am at peace because of what I decisions I have made to commit to my health. Although the road can get tough when staying disciplined while consistently exercising, it's worth the sacrifice. Such a small percentage of your day that can lead to a big difference in your overall life.
