The ‘Why’ behind this weeks Verse:
Holding on to past mistakes creates stagnancy. Letting go of past mistakes and forgiving ourselves creates quality in abundance as you begin to flow more freely in God's assurance.
How It Relates to My Life:
I used to be super hard on myself for mistakes I’ve made, looking back to when I was a much younger child or even things I’ve done as I emerged into my spiritual maturity. It’s things that kept me up at night or even had me walking around with such regret that I almost began to lose myself but I had to come to grips that sometimes you have to lose your carnal self to gain your spiritual self. And due to our carnality we are still going to have slip ups but your spiritual self will always over power it. That’s where this verse plays a key role. Christ is here for us , look at how thoughtful he is. He knows we are going to have our downfalls in the midst of our roads to find a better life which should include an uprise in our faith. He’s telling us “it’s ok son/daughter, I got you. I forgive you”. Since the Father, The Son & The Holy Spirit are one we can walk in peace appreciating that God forgave us so now it’s on us to forgive ourselves.
How It Relates to My Workouts:
I prayed for the current physique I have. Most importantly I have prayed that my spirituality became stronger. I know life is deeper than a six-pack and swole arms so that goes with all else. This journey in building my body showed me even more about how to handle other aspects of my life to accelerate as my best self. Which is why I encourage everyone to begin & stick with a fitness journey to Uncover YOU
