Thank you for being a supporter of abmbworkouts.com. I want to personally thank my Aunt for instilling the phrase "life detours" in my arsenal of dope catch phrases! Keep reading to see how it meshes with this weeks verse.
The Weekly Word includes 3 elements.
1. My ‘Why’ behind the Verse chosen
2. How it relates to me personally throughout life in general and an exercising stand point.
3. An option for YOU to reflect in the same way I do whether you want to speak on both life and exercise or life by itself. The choice is always yours!
The ‘Why’ behind this weeks Verse:
With so many fad diets , external wraps to put on your body , diet pills , fun facts , and anything else floating around, it remains clear that they all keep us in this mindset of "wanting everything yesterday". The thing is no matter what they try and tell you about transforming your body it always comes down to eating healthier and exercising. The key word is always "and". It's absolutely no grey area when it comes to achieving your overall personal best body image/complete internal health. In the verse picture I intentionally included a woman holding her jeans out showing her progress in weight loss because I know how hard it can get to work at something and feel like the results aren't coming quick enough. The struggles we all have with our bodies and our lives all boil down to us acknowledging them and working diligently to get through the detours they give us because it's really just God showing us that it's time to take another route. And throughout it all we must be patient! Work at your process, celebrate the small victories along the way and again most importantly be patient as time works its course while God simueltaneously works it in your favor, & whether you see it now or not it always works in your favor when you love Him, rely on Him and trust Him.
How It Relates to My Life:
As I continue to build the online presence for my business, I am noticing how certain methods seem that they have no direct business result at first. I'll give you a brief example: Doing things such as posting footage online of my clients exercising without any "salesy" promotion can seem like I'm posting a video just for the sake of posting a video. Then that video of them working out leads to them reposting it, after it's reposted it has lead to another audience seeing it within their following/ friend list. From that viewing on their friend list it leads to someone reaching out to me inquiring how they can begin a relationship with ABMB whether it's getting an exercise program with me or forming a partnership with their workplace where I conduct group exercise sessions. Either way it takes consistenly posting all types of content which leads to a benefit in favor of my business even though my intent isn't always strictly business but here's the thing sometimes it seems like I do it and nothing happens immediately and thats when patience comes into play with my consistent work at it. I'll end my reflection on the note where you should trust your path , look at your mistakes as "detours" while you patiently and persistently maneuver around them.
How It Relates to My Workouts:
Please don't make me sit here and re-tell that story on how patient I had to be to transform my body.Ya'll already heard it at least 5000 times lol but on another note when I progress to a new exercise I have to understand that at first it's about starting with less weight/ less reps then I progressively and patiently move up from there.
