The Weekly Word includes 3 elements.
1. My ‘Why’ behind the Verse chosen
2. How it relates to me personally throughout life in general and an exercising stand point.
3. An option for YOU to reflect in the same way I do whether you want to speak on both life and exercise or life by itself. The choice is always yours!
The ‘Why’ behind this weeks Verse:
How It Relates to My Life:
As God is blessing me to grow more and more as a figure of authority when it comes to being a Fitness Professional , I realize transparency is essential because if I share hardship with you , you can then see how I am still persevering through it. On that same note I’m also big on the saying “a private life is a happy life”. With that being said I’m going to let y’all in on something in hopes that it helps you remain strong in faith and perseverance toward living the life you desire. Within the last couple weeks I faced my biggest challenge in my personal life to date. I literally felt the weakest I ever felt in my life while dealing with it. I just didn’t show it because I understand that if you commit to living your dream then you have to commit no matter what which is why y’all still see me posting , still see me working , and still being myself as you know me. Despite it all I kept my composure , remained prayerful and still walked around with a smile as God continues to bless my business to inspire the lives around me. It got to the point that I was with one of my relatives and He stated “You have to feel some way , How you feeling about it?” I looked Him in his eyes and responded with the conclusion “My peace is that God is in control, that’s it”. It’s so true I’m telling y’all , if you really humble yourself and come to grips with that, it creates such an inexplainable peace to the point that you just feel “Ok”, like you’re really good knowing that the One Who’s responsible for everything uncontrollable that goes on in life is actually in your corner! The experience really brought me much closer to God, I am stronger than ever mentally and in Faith & to that I want to publicly/shamelessly take a moment to thank my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
How It Relates to My Workouts:
Any client of mine knows that I pace their exercises appropriately based on their individual fitness level. With my personal workout regiment I consistently push myself to the limit. So , when digging for those extra reps , I literally catch myself saying “I am strong ,Jesus got me!” especially when I have 3 reps to go when my body feels like it can only handle one more.
